14 Kms trek from Gourikund (From Gourikund, at 4 Kms - Jangalchoti
& at 8 Kms - Ramwara), it is the main part of Panchakedar
(the others being the Madmaheshwar, Rudranath, Tunganath &
Kalpeshwar). It is known for the Lord Shiva's temple. With a
unique view of Kedardom & Kedarpeak, this little place attracts
not only devotees but also lakhs of mountain lovers around the
world. A glimpse of Kedarnath from Chorabalital or the Gandhi
Sarovar can be remembered for years.
