ancient capital of Chandela Rajputs, this place is known
for its temples. During 950 A.D. to 1050 A.D., different
kings built 85 temples. Today only 22 out of those temples
can be viewed as other have either been demolished by
different conquerers or have been destroyed with time.
The main subject of Khajuraho's sculpture was different
aspects of sex.
