It
was previously known as 'the Royal Palace' and was surrounded
by five hills. Lord Buddha came here and made Bimbisar,
the then Emperor of Mourya Dynasty, his disciple ans stayed
for 12 years. Later Jain religious leader also stayed
here for 14 years and taught his disciple, religious lessons.
